So who'd guess I'd end up back out here in Louisiana? I don't need no powers to make me a thief, I'm still as clever as I ever was, and don't the whole area know it!
After everything that went on down in the past year, with the Guild collapsing and bounty-hunting, looting is starting to feel like a good ol' prize, LeBeau, for a little good work well done. And I'm being careful about it all, which is more than I ever did - and I guess I got the X-Men to thank for that.
Whenever I think of that, of all those X-Men (all my friends) just up and disappearing, I get an ache in my stomach that ain't exactly about food - it's that ache that medicine won't fix, that one called Rogue. Way I see it, I'll never see her again. She could be really dead, but nothing can beat her. She could be out there and staying away from me - and what I said in my last one, it was witty. It was.
Wish I could just see her again. Just for a minute. |

I spent yesterday afternoon playing that Legends game with Rogue, playing as Rogue, but I think she went on and beat me.
So did she beat me or did she beat herself? And did I win, since she was playing at being Gambit? |
